Google Fiber is a fiber optic Internet service developed by Google that provides users with high-speed Internet connections, video content, and voice communications. Google Fiber's broadband access rate is between 1Gbps and 8Gbps, and it is gradually introducing 20Gbps, which is dozens of times faster than the general broadband access technology on the market, and users can smoothly watch high-definition videos, play online games and voice communications. The hardware provided by Google Fiber includes a fiber optic network terminal ONT and a WiFi router. Google Fiber is currently available in dozens of U.S. cities, with more cities to follow.
